As a mom of five kiddos and married to my college sweetheart, family is my everything. By day, I’m a project manager in the fast-paced world of space exploration, collaborating with engineers, scientists, educators, and even astronauts! But let’s be real- it can be tough juggling a full-time career, family businesses, marriage, annnnd being mom. I’ve been intentional to creatively pursue my own ambitions in a way (and at a pace) that works for our family and the changing needs of our kids.
I’m incredibly passionate about STEM engagement and outreach because I truly believe in inspiring the next generation of world-changers. As a mom with a full-time career, 3 family businesses and a bustling household, I’m constantly asked, “How do you do it all?” Well, this blog is my creative outlet, my space to share the strategies and tips that help me seek balance, joy, and fulfillment in the chaos of everyday life. And to learn from other’s like YOU that are rockin’ it -even (and especially) when it feels like you’re not.

My Passions
I studied biology in undergrad and then earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Southern California. I worked as an education specialist in college helping underserved high school students get to and through college, as the 1st generation in their respective families to do so. I am passionated about education, outreach and STEM engagement. When I’m not preparing for a launch at work, you’ll find me conducting STEM challenges in my kitchen with my kiddos, or volunteering to connect other kids to STEM at local nonprofits and schools. From hatching chickens in our kitchen to swimming with dolphins, I’m intentional about fostering hands-on learning and discovering the wonders of the world together- as a family.
My “mom” Resume
My career path has been full of quick starts, hard stops, slow returns, long pauses, and unexpected pivots. Just don’t be discouraged because your journey looks a little different than someone else. Do what works for YOU. I’m still figuring it out, but enjoy the journey of balancing motherhood with my personal and professional goals.
